Lay on the floor on your tummy, draw your hands up so that they are under your shoulders.

Rest position.In this exercise lie on the floor on your tummy with the arms stretched out in front of the body, legs and arms relaxed. Draw your hands towards the shoulders and gently push up onto your hands and knees, then gently rest back onto your heels, stretching your arms out in front of the body and hold the position and rest. Gently breathing in and out and relax. When you have completed 5 breaths relax and stand up.

 

Care Notes

Keep the neck long and relaxed.

Allow the buttocks to stretch to the heels.

Allow the shoulder blades to stretch forwards.

Never hold your breath.

Stop if you feel any discomfort at all.
