The primary purpose of the site is to assist my clients who for one reason or another are unable to get to a class. Many clients who have long standing back problems, for example, need to be able to stretch out and relax their backs after long periods of travelling.
Michael Mann, the Pilates teacher behind this site, has been working with the technique for more than 20 years and continues to practice in his own studio at Gilmour Pipers in Ipswich, dealing with injuries and problems presented to him by his colleagues in the Physiotherapy and Osteopathy fields.
This experience has enabled him to build up sequences of exercises which can help clients with a wide range of problems.
The site has been designed to show a series of exercises forming several routines. Each month these will be added to and/or changed, so your routines can constantly evolve.
Each exercise has audio and visual display formats, letting you watch one of Michael's pupils demonstrating the exercise while Michael talks them through it. You will also be able view still images and read a written description.
Please read through the terms and conditions before anything else. If you have any medical concerns/conditions please consult your health provider. This also applies if you have any concerns about your suitability to do these exercises. At the end of the day your health is of the utmost importance and you are taking responsibility for it while doing the exercises.
